Founded Western Marine Shipyard Ltd in 2000. Built 147 vessels of various types for domestic & international market from 2002~2018. Exported 32 vessels in 12 countries in the Globe (Europe-Germany, Finland, Denmark, Latin America – Ecuador, Pacific – New Zealand, Asia – UAE, Pakistan, India, Africa– Kenya, Uganda, Gambia, Tanzania).

Built 150 vessels of various types for domestic & international market & exported 32 vessels worth over USD 150M in 12 countries in the Globe (Europe-Germany, Finland, Denmark, Latin America – Ecuador, Pacific – New Zealand, Asia – UAE, Pakistan, India, Africa-Kenya, Uganda, Gambia, Tanzania). Representing 70% of Bangladesh’s total ships export.

Green Maritime

Engaged in Green shipbuilding & maritime sector globally since 2022. Current order: 2 x passenger ferry for Kenya Govt (LSL & KSBL). 2 x 12500DWT MPC ice class ships (Green Ships) for the Netherlands (KSBL).

Chairman & CEO

Presently holding the post Chairman & CEO of SS Trading, TS Dredging and Heavy Engineering Ltd from January 2019.

Vice Chairman

Started business in 1994 by founding Western Marine Service Ltd  in Chittagong providing ship service facilities, presently holding the post as Vice Chairman.

Chief Engineer

Served as on Board various ocean going vessel as Marine Engineer from junior rank to Chief Engineer from 1981~1993.
